Plagiarism and Hope

Authors have often complained about plagiarism. We hear multiple times an idea being stolen from us in a way that we feel demotivated to focus on another creative idea. Instead of becoming hopeless about our idea being stolen, we need to deal with such cheating in a practical way. Let me explain with a simple story.

A bird once asked a honey bee: You work so hard. You toil so much. You put so much effort and energy to make and store honey. But then a man comes and steals it. Do you not feel sad? The honey bee gave a fantastic reply: Yes I do feel sad, at that moment. But then I remind myself: "The only thing a man can steal from me is 'my honey'. He can never steal the art of making honey that I possess."

Just like in a story we need to focus on and grow so that no one can steal our skill. The low-grade plagiarism of popularity will never lead you to true contentment. They can copy our creation, but they can't copy our Talent (Art of making). True diamond will shine on its own no matter how it goes through the process.

As Tony Stark Said in Ironman 3
You can take away my house
All my tricks and toys
But one thing you can not take away is
I am Ironman.
They can copy my art but cannot becomes an artist.....
