As birthdays pass, growing up and older are inevitable parts of life’s journey, but sometimes along with that journey, we fail to appreciate the precious gift of the here-and-now. Often we approach our early years with an impatience for getting on with our lives, and our later years with regrets that it has all gone by too quickly
Dear Apekshya,
Taking Life’s Journey One Special Day at a Time, I want to make your day special with my special story for social media along with promoting you as one of the content writers for my blog; After all, it's your birthday. As everyone says, two days ain't ever the same. Our day may be a blend of happiness or sadness or any other multiple feelings. And you know what? Just like there are a variety of seasons, you are a mixture of multiple feelings. Feelings that even I come across. You are like those cozy winter mornings and chilled winter nights which gives me the confidence to fight with the winds that my life encompasses. You are more like a friend to me than a sister.
It's a quick reminder to you that you have completed 18 already. Life after 18 is a life full of emotional change. You’ll start to lose friends – some will betray you, some will just move to a different city. and with some, the spark will disappear. You’ll be embarrassed to ask your parents for money. ( I am already insolvent by the age of 20). You’ll move to a foreign country and Girl, Would you really be able to handle responsibilities of your own over there with strangers surrounding everywhere? Your parents ask for your opinion on family matters. You realize how much your parents have sacrificed for you. There’s wisdom in your advice. whenever a younger sibling comes to you, you guide them and look after them. You see, I’m not trying to scare you. life after 18 is going to change. you’re going to make friends, and you’re going to lose them. It will all happen, and when it does, take it as it comes. because these days are going to stay with you.
But this emotion too shall pass, as all things do. It will become habitual sooner. I don't want to ask " Where did that carefree kid in you go?". Just like it's said; "Age is just a number for you. You are just like special fine wine", I wish that you would remain creative and youthful throughout your life with no change in dynamics. I wish you the excitement of embarking on a brand new journey of self-discovery. I wish for you to experience the joy of learning, whether through formal education or by exploring the world around you. I wish for you to find joy from the family in whatever form that takes. I wish for you to find happiness and fulfillment in whatever it is that you do. I wish for you to find new goals and aspirations for your life. I wish for you to recognize that you are just hitting your stride, buoyed by a confidence that comes from experience and by the realization that more great things are left to come. I wish for you to have a sense of pride in what you’ve accomplished so far. I wish for you to take new steps toward whatever it is you’d still like to achieve. I wish for you to find joy from precious moments you share with family and friends. I wish for you to have the peace and satisfaction of a life well-lived. I wish for you to find the courage to embrace new adventures. I wish you the health and financial security that enables you to enjoy life to the fullest.
I’ve added your birthday to the google calendar. Not because I fear missing it again, but more so because I don’t want to risk missing out on one of the two days we actually end up bonding on. As you are learning Korean 생일 축하 해요
